4. User Accounts and Authentication
SonicCx uses Firebase Authentication to support user sign-in and account management.
Authentication-related information may be processed by Google Firebase to verify identities and maintain secure sessions.
Access to particular projects and records depends on the permissions assigned to each user within SonicCx.
5. Project and Commissioning Data
Users may enter or upload information relating to engineering projects, assets, commissioning activities, inspections and tests.
Project records may be accessible to other authorized users associated with the relevant project or organization, subject to their assigned permissions.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary personal information or sensitive material in project comments, photographs and attachments.
6. Photographs and Documents
SonicCx may request access to the device camera or photo library when a user chooses to capture or attach evidence to a commissioning record.
Selected photographs and documents may be stored as part of the relevant project record and made available to authorized project users.
Camera and photo-library permissions can be managed through the device settings.
7. Offline Storage and Synchronization
SonicCx supports certain offline workflows to allow commissioning information to be entered when an internet connection is unavailable.
Information entered or accessed offline may be stored locally on the device. When connectivity is restored, eligible changes may be synchronized with the connected project database.
Users should protect their devices against unauthorized access, particularly when project information is available offline.
The availability and retention of offline information may depend on the specific feature, device settings and synchronization state.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
SonicCx uses Google Firebase services for functions including authentication, database operations, cloud storage and backend processing.
Relevant information may be processed by Google as a service provider in accordance with the applicable service agreements and privacy terms.
Additional technical service providers may be used where necessary to deliver or maintain App functionality. Any such processing must be subject to appropriate privacy and security protections.
9. Location Information
SonicCx does not currently provide GPS tracking or location-based monitoring as an App feature.
Users may manually enter project, site or asset location information as part of commissioning records.
This section describes SonicCx App functionality and does not exclude technical data processing by third-party SDKs where applicable.
10. Information Security
SonicCx uses access controls and supporting technical measures intended to protect project and account information.
The App uses Firebase services which provide security features for authentication, data transmission and cloud storage.
No electronic system can guarantee absolute security. Users should maintain secure credentials and take appropriate precautions when using shared or company-owned devices.
11. Data Retention
Account information and project data may be retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legitimate project requirements and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the records, contractual arrangements and applicable requirements.
Information that is no longer required should be deleted or otherwise handled according to the applicable retention and deletion procedures.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, users may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information.
Requests relating to organization-owned commissioning records may need to be coordinated with the relevant organization or project administrator.
Some records may need to be retained to satisfy legal or contractual obligations.
13. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their SonicCx account and associated personal information.
Account deletion requests will be assessed and processed in accordance with applicable requirements. Information that must legally be retained may be excluded from deletion.
Commissioning records associated with an organization or project may require separate review where retention obligations apply.
Where account creation is available within the App, SonicCx must also provide an accessible way to initiate account deletion within the App.
14. Data Sharing
SonicCx may make project information available to authorized project participants and service providers when necessary to operate the App and manage commissioning activities.
Personal information may also be disclosed where required by law or a valid legal process.
This policy does not authorize the use of project information for unrelated purposes.

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to SonicCx features, technical services, business operations or applicable privacy requirements.
The effective date displayed on this document will be updated when the policy changes. Material changes may require additional notification.
